<p>Oprettede siden med &#039;&#039;&#039;&#039;Stæhr Legatboliger&#039;&#039;&#039; var nogle enkeboliger der lå på det nu nedrevne <a href="/wiki/%C3%98stre_M%C3%B8llesti" title="Østre Møllesti">Østre Møllesti</a> 25-27. Legatboligerne blev oprettet i 1768 af farver og tidligere rådmand ...&#039;</p> <p><b>Ny side</b></p><div>&#039;&#039;&#039;Stæhr Legatboliger&#039;&#039;&#039; var nogle enkeboliger der lå på det nu nedrevne [[Østre Møllesti]] 25-27.<br /> <br /> Legatboligerne blev oprettet i 1768 af farver og tidligere rådmand [[Andreas Stæhr]].<br /> <br /> Stæhr ejede i forvejen nogle ejendomme på Møllestien, som han lod nedrive, og i stedet fik han opført et otte-fags hus på grunden, hvori to lejligheder blev indrettet. Betingelserne for legatboligernes benyttelse er bevaret i en fundats. Hver lejlighed var beboet af to enker. Boligerne var forbeholdt enker, hvis mænd havde &#039;&#039;&quot;betjent nogen af Aarhus bye offentlige eller andre publique kongelige embeder og betjeninger i den civile stand&quot;&#039;&#039;*. Det blev Stæhrs tre døtre, som skulle bestemme, hvem der skulle bo i lejlighederne.<br /> <br /> Lejlighederne skulle efter opførelsen tilfalde [[Aarhus Fattigvæsen]], ligesom stæhr ved sin død, testamenterede 150 rdl., hvis renter fattiginspektøren skulle anvende til at holde huset.<br /> Boligerne blev kendt som &#039;&#039;Stæhrs Legatbolig&#039;&#039;.<br /> <br /> På trods af at en købmand Rasmus Clausen i 1887 gav 200 kr, hvor renterne skulle lægges til renterne af Stæhrs legatkapital, var pengene til renovering og vedligeholdelse små, og i 1900-tallet var de gamle bygninger faldefærdige.
